Partners in Education
Partners In Education is the parent organization of Saint Raphael School. Our mission is to work with the teachers and school staff in a positive and cooperative manner to support the children and build the community spirit among the school and the families. Our duties and responsibilities include community building events, fundraising, and providing a volunteer base for events and in-school activities run by school staff.
Meetings
All members of the SRS community are invited to attend Partners meetings. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at 8:00 PM in the Parish Center. If school is not in session on the first Thursday, or if afterschool activities are cancelled due to weather, the meeting will take place the following week.
Events
We strive to build community by hosting a number of events for families, children and adults throughout the year by providing opportunities to gather formally and informally. Events are purposely kept affordable (or free).
Some of these events have included:
- Back to School Barbecue
- Trunk or Treat
- End-of-Year Carnival
- Parents' Night Out
- In-school Christmas Shop
If you have an idea for a new event or a suggestion about an existing one, please contact one of the Co-chairs or attend a monthly meeting!
Volunteer Coordination
Our volunteers are utilized whenever needed by the school to support the staff and promote the school in the community.
If you are interested in being involved or wish to offer suggestions to enhance our efforts further, please contact one of our Co-chairs, Justin Quattrini and Marc L'Heureux.
