Partners In Education is the Saint Raphael School parent organization. Our mission is to work together with the teachers and school staff in a positive and cooperative manner to support the children and to build the community spirit among the school and the families. Our duties and responsibilities include community building events, fundraising and providing a volunteer base for events and in-school activities run by school staff.
We strive to build community by hosting a number of events for families, children and adults throughout the year by providing opportunities to gather formally and informally. Events are purposely kept affordable (or free).
Some of these events have included:
- Back to School Barbecue
- Halloween Monster Bash
- Adult Trivia Night
- Pancake Breakfast with Santa
- Skating Party
- Catholic Schools Week
Partners facilitates the Winter Winnings Raffle Calendar – SRS’s only mandatory fundraiser. In addition to this we look for opportunities to enrich the school though other voluntary programs, including: Box Tops, Ink and Toner Recycling, and Meadow Glen Mall Bucks.
Our volunteers are utilized whenever needed by the school to provide support to the staff and to promote the school in the community.
